- Contact details such as your name, phone number, email address and postal address.
- Membership and booking details such as your membership type, class bookings, attendance and 24-hour access records.
- Payment details needed to process membership fees and purchases. Card and bank details are handled by our payment provider and are not stored on our own systems.
- Health and fitness information you choose to share, such as injuries, medical conditions or physical limitations, your fitness goals, and pre-exercise screening answers.
- Emergency contact details you give us.
- Website information such as forms you submit and general usage data collected through cookies and analytics.
- Photos and video taken at classes and events, where you have agreed to this.
Health information
Health information is sensitive information under the Privacy Act. We only collect it with your consent, and only so our coaches can keep you safe, adapt exercises to suit you and help you reach your goals.
We share it only with the coaches who need it to look after you, unless the law requires or allows otherwise (for example, in an emergency). You don't have to tell us about your health, but if you don't, we may not be able to tailor classes safely for you.
How we collect it
We collect information directly from you when you:
- fill in a form on our website (free consultation, drop-in, Social Saturdays or contact forms)
- join as a member, book a class or use our member app
- call, email, message us or visit in person
- take part in programs such as the 21 Day Energy Reset
If someone else gives us information about you, for example a parent or guardian booking on your behalf, we will handle it in line with this policy.
How we use it
We use your personal information to:
- set up and manage your membership, bookings and 24-hour access
- process payments and send receipts
- deliver safe, suitable classes and coaching
- contact you about your bookings, timetable changes and gym updates
- send you news and offers, if you have agreed to receive them
- improve our classes, services and website
- meet our legal and insurance obligations
Marketing messages
With your consent, we may send you emails or SMS about classes, events and offers. Every marketing message includes a way to unsubscribe, or you can ask us at any time to stop. We will still send you messages you need, such as booking confirmations and account notices.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where needed to run the gym, with:
- our coaches and staff
- service providers who help us operate, such as our member management, booking and messaging platform, payment processors, website and IT support
- emergency services or medical professionals in an emergency
- anyone else where the law requires or allows it
Our service providers are only allowed to use your information to provide services to us.
Storing information overseas
Some of our software providers store data on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your information is handled in a way that is consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Keeping it secure
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. This includes password-protected systems, limiting access to staff who need it, and using reputable, secure providers. We keep information only as long as we need it, then delete or de-identify it.
If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
